Removal and installation of the pump of a cooling liquid

4-cylinder engines

Removal

Linings and sealing rings are necessarily replaced.

The bottom cover of a gear belt does not act in film. The gear belt remains on a pulley of a cranked shaft. For protection against hit of a cooling liquid close a gear belt.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Close a gear belt before removal of the pump of a cooling liquid by a rag to exclude hit on a belt of a cooling liquid.
  2. Merge cooling liquid, address to corresponding Section.
  3. Remove клиновой a belt, address to Section Removal and installation of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
  4. Turn away three screws of fastening of a tension element.
  5. Remove the top and central cover of a gear belt, address to Section Removal and installation of a gear belt.
  6. Remove a gear belt from a wheel of the pump of a cooling liquid, address to Section Removal and installation of a gear belt.
  1. Turn out bolts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and take out the pump of a cooling liquid from the block of cylinders.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Moisten a new sealing ring (3) cooling with a liquid and insert it into the block of cylinders.
  1. Insert the pump into the block of cylinders and fix its bolts (1) moment 15Нм.
  2. Establish a gear belt and adjust phases timing, address to Section Removal and installation of a gear belt.
  3. Establish a tension element клинового a belt and fix its moment 25Нм.
  4. Establish клиновой a belt, address to Section Removal and installation of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
  5. Fill system with a cooling liquid. Address to Section Replacement of a cooling liquid.
