The basic data

Engines have three inlet and two final valves on the cylinder. Each number of cylinders of the engine has on 2 camshafts. At engine V6 camshafts of final valves are set in motion by a gear belt, camshafts of inlet valves are set in motion by a chain from camshafts of final valves. At engine V8 four camshafts, also as well as auxiliary units, are set in motion by several chains. Privodnye chains are located from outside a flywheel (the check point party).

1 — the Cranked shaft Check axial люфта: The new: 0.07 - 0.23 mm Deterioration limit: 0.25 mm Check of a radial backlash by means of Plastigage: 0.018 - 0.045 mm Deterioration limit: 0.10 mm Attention: At check of a radial backlash do not rotate a cranked shaft. 2 — the Cover of the radical bearing 4 with dredging for a persistent washer 3 — the Bolt. Replace, 60Нм+90 °. For measurement of a radial backlash tighten a bolt effort no more 60Нм 4 — the Persistent washer of the radical bearing 4 5 — the Flywheel/privodnoj a disk

6 — the Bolt of a flywheel/privodnogo of a disk. Replace, (a flywheel 60Нм+180 °), (приводной a disk 60Нм+90 °). At отдавании use the tool 3242 for blocking of a cranked shaft 7 — Loose leaves of radical bearings. Do not mix the removed loose leaves 8 — the Tight flange with an epiploon. It is replaced in gathering. Before removal merge cooling liquid 9 — the Lining. Replace 10 — the Bolt, 10Нм 11 — the Persistent washer of the block of cylinders, the bearing 4 12 — the Bolt, 25Нм. Preliminary tighten by hand before to tighten bolts of a cover of the radical bearing 13 — the Block of cylinders 14 — the Directing plug

10 — the Lining 11 — the Cover. At damage a lining replace 12 — the Arm 13 — Shestigrannaja a nut, 10Нм. Tighten in a direction from the centre outside 14 — the Bolt of a head of cylinders. 1 — the Double cover of bearings. Slightly grease an interfaced surface with greasing AV 174 004 01 2 — the Bolt, 10Нм 3 — Covers of bearings of a camshaft of final valves. Slightly grease interfaced surfaces of extreme (external) bearings with greasing AV 174 004 01 4 — the Camshaft of final valves. Check of a radial backlash by means of Plastigage: Palpation, no more: 0.01 mm Deterioration limit: 0.10 mm 5 — the Cap. Replace. For removal uncover the bearing. At the established cover of the bearing напрессуйте by means of the tool 3202 and a plastic hammer 6 — Covers of bearings of a camshaft of inlet valves 7 — the Camshaft of final valves 8 — a camshaft Regulator. Before removal block by means of a clamp 3366 натяжителя chains. Check up camshaft adjustment 9 — Privodnaja a chain. Before removal mark a movement direction 10 — the Bolt, 10Нм 11 — the Sealing ring. Replace 12 — the Valve 1 or 2 for adjustment of camshaft N205 or N208. Check up camshaft adjustment

13 — the Lining (rubber/metal). Replace 14 — the Segment insert. Replace 15 — the Hydraulic pusher of the valve. Do not interchange the position of pushers of different valves.
