Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher

The top cover of the engine

Removal

Petrol engines 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out bolts and nuts (arrows on an accompanying illustration) uncover () the engine.
  1. Remove, at necessity, the right top cover of the engine.
  1. Disconnect the electromagnetic valve of an adsorber of the fulfilled gases (1) at an air line and will put it aside.
  1. Turn out screws (arrows) and remove an air line (2).

Petrol engines of 2.4 and 3.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove upwards the right cover of the engine (1) in an impellent compartment.
  1. Remove upwards a back cover of the engine in an arrow direction.
  1. Remove upwards a forward cover of the engine in an arrow direction on an accompanying illustration.
  1. If necessary, disconnect and take out a lateral top cover of an impellent compartment.

The diesel engine of 1.9 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take out the index of level of oil from a directing pipe.
 
  1. Disconnect covers (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and turn away nuts lying under them.
  1. Remove upwards an engine cover иснимите then демпфер the noise, lying under it.
 
  1. Insert the index of level of oil into directing pipe.
 

The diesel engine of 2.5 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Take out upwards a cover of the engine from holders.

Installation

Installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.

Removal

Instructions on security measures

Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before operation carrying out familiarise with Razdelom Poddomkrachivanie and towage.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift and establish on supports a forward part of the car.
  1. Turn out screws (1). To establish the forward panel in position for servicing carrying out, it is necessary to turn out only three forward screws, address to Section Installation of the forward panel in position for maintenance service and an accompanying illustration.
  1. Turn out screws (2) and remove a forward cover of the engine from the bottom.
  1. Depending on the engine turn out screws (3) and remove a back cover of the engine from the bottom.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is carried out in sequence. Return to removal.
  2. Lower the car on wheels.
