After performance described below procedure you only will remove superfluous pressure in fuel system. In pipelines there will be a gasoline. Before disconnecting any fuel hose, accept all necessary safety measures.

The fuel system considered in the given Chapter, consists of the fuel tank located in it of the fuel pump with the gauge of a stock of fuel, the fuel filter, injectors or atomizers, a regulator of pressure and various hoses and tubes. In all these knots in an engine operating time (and also at the included ignition) fuel is under pressure.

After deenergizing of ignition pressure in system remains still long enough time. Before a detachment of any of mentioned above the component is necessary for removing pressure.

For this purpose quickly open a cover of a fuel tank and again close it. Put on connection a thick rag. Use goggles. In system of direct injection of engine AWA in the described image pressure only regarding the system having low pressure (to 6 атм can be removed.). For high pressure removal (to 110 атм.) special devices are required. The high pressure in system is present at area from ТНВД to atomizers. At the diesel engine the temperature of fuel pipelines and fuel at the engine with pumps-atomizers in extreme cases can make of 1.9 l to 100°С. Before opening of connections, allow to fuel to cool down, since otherwise it can occur a burn.

The elementary way of dump of pressure is following. Take a safety lock of the fuel pump and start the engine. If the engine is not started, turn its starter within several seconds and if it will be started, allow the engine to work on single turns until he will not decay.
