Removal, installation and coupling check

For coupling installation it is necessary aligning оправка AUDI-3176 or the usual aligning tool, for example, HAZET 2174.



  1. Remove a check point, address to Section Removal and check point installation.
  1. To exclude проворачивание a flywheel at отворачивании fastening bolts, fix a flywheel a screw-driver and оправкой or tool AUDI-3067.

Tool AUDI-3067 is shown on an accompanying illustration in installation position, at removal the tool should be turned.

  1. Loosen the bolts of fastening of a press disk cross-wise on 1 – 1.5 turns so that to unload press a disk.

If bolts to turn on at once completely, it is possible to damage press springs.

  1. After easing of bolts turn out them completely.
  2. Take out press and conducted disks.

Do not drop disks at removal, otherwise after installation into place there can be difficulties at deenergizing of coupling and jerks at its work.

  1. Wipe the bearing of deenergizing of coupling, without washing out it.
  2. Wipe a flywheel.



  1. Check up press a disk on presence of traces of an overheat and flutes.
  1. Check up the ends of press springs (an arrow on an accompanying illustration). Deterioration to half of their thickness is supposed.
  1. Check up spring connections between a press disk and a cover on presence of cracks. Check up reliability заклёпочных connections. At easing of rivets it is necessary to replace coupling.
  1. Check up adjoining surfaces on presence of cracks, traces of an overheat and deterioration. The press disks having a deflection inside to 0.2 mm can be applied further. Check is carried out by means of a ruler and the complete set probeов.
  1. Check up a flywheel on presence of traces of an overheat and flutes.
  2. Greasy disk and the disk having mechanical damages, it is necessary to replace.
  3. Check up a thickness of frictional overlays.
  4. On HUNDRED it is possible to check up face palpation of a disk. It should not exceed 0.8 mm (on distance of 2.5 mm from edge).

Such check becomes only concerning an old disk which created difficulties at coupling deenergizing. If necessary, cautiously will correct a disk.

  1. Check up a hand a disk in the established position. For this purpose slightly compress the bearing a hand and turn. The bearing should rotate easily.

At bearings of deenergizing of coupling with a plastic ring the last can be disconnected at removal of a check point or the bearing. It is not at the bottom for bearing replacement.

  1. The disconnected ring before check point installation paste to a ring of the bearing glue AMW 195 KD 01. Thus 3 nouses of a plastic ring (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) should enter into grooves of a ring of the bearing.

If the working surface of a plastic ring is worn out more than on 0.5 mm, it is necessary to replace the bearing of deenergizing of coupling

  1. At car movement the damaged bearing of deenergizing of coupling proves noise by pressing of a pedal of coupling. In this case it is necessary to replace the bearing.


Check up new details under the catalogue. If the details which were in work preliminary they are necessary for checking up are established.

If the old disk of coupling has burnt down owing to an overload, for smell elimination it is necessary to clear carefully press a disk, a flywheel and the engine from outside a check point.


  1. Before installation of a new press disk remove protective anticorrosive greasing only on its working surface. In other places greasing at all do not delete, since it can lead to essential reduction of service life of coupling.
  2. Check up reliability of installation aligning оправки on a flywheel.
  3. Clear of a rust шлицы a conducted disk. Grease with a thin layer of greasing MoS2 teeths of a primary shaft. HUNDRED apply for this purpose greasing AUDI-G000100. After it move a conducted disk every which way on primary to a shaft so that the nave easily moved on a shaft. Surpluses of greasing necessarily remove.
  1. At installation of a conducted disk watch that a package of screw springs or an inscription «Getriebeseite» («the check point Party») has been turned towards a check point. Frictional overlays should adjoin to a flywheel. If there are colour labels, watch that white points of a two-mass flywheel () and a press disk () were opposite each other, address to an illustration the Flywheel, a basket and a coupling disk.
  1. Centre a conducted disk on a press disk with the help оправки, for example, HAZET 2174 or AUDI-3176. If the conducted disk is not centered, it will be impossible to enter later a primary shaft.
  1. Establish press a disk on aligning pins on a flywheel.

Press the disk should adjoin to a flywheel completely. Only after that insert fastening bolts. At all do not tighten press a disk bolts, aligning pins and their apertures otherwise can be damaged.

  1. Tighten bolts of fastening of a press disk cross-wise on 1 – 1.5 turns. After that tighten bolts the moment 25Нм. Thus press the disk should not warp, since aligning pins and their apertures otherwise can be damaged.
