Adjustment of a lay brake

Owing to automatic self-installation of a lay brake its adjustment, as a rule, is not required. Adjustment of a lay brake is required only in case of replacement of a cable, back supports or brake disks. Adjustment conditions: Air should be removed from the basic brake system, brakes should be serviceable. The lever of a lay brake, cables and holders should be completely established. |

- Mark with an arrow a direction of rotation of the tyre. Turn away bolts of fastening of a wheel. Lift and establish on supports the car.
- Remove an ashtray and the panel of inclusion of heating of a back seat, address to Section Removal and ashtray installation.
- Take out from the central console a cover located over a latch of a lay brake.

- Insert into both back supports wooden remote linings in the thickness And = 1.5 mm.

|
- Press strongly a pedal of a brake not less than three times. Thus resistance should be felt appreciable.
- Release the lever of a lay brake and establish it in a starting position.
|
- Press the unblocking button. Thus both latches (3) should catch eyes of a cable of a lay brake, and the label (2) should show back. (1) – a nut of the lever of a lay brake.

|
- Release the unblocking button.
- Tighten strongly the lever of a lay brake not less than three times.
- Establish the lever in a starting position and press the unblocking button. Thus both latches should catch eyes of a cable of a lay brake.
- Release the unblocking button, establish the lever of a lay brake in a starting position and remove remote linings in supports.

- Check up with the help probeа position of the lever at supports. The distance () between the lever and an emphasis should make from 0 to 1.5 mm. If this size another, spend adjustment of a lay brake.

- Establish into place a cover over a latch.
- Establish into place an ashtray and the panel of inclusion of heating of a back seat, address to Section Removal and ashtray installation.
