Removal and installation of the switch of a stoplight

The stoplight switch is in a pedal support. By pressing of a pedal of a brake by means of the switch the stoplight lights up. Besides, the stoplight switch serves as the gauge for the block of management ABS/EDS. Therefore correct work and adjustment of the switch of a stoplight has special value.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The stoplight switch can be established only once. After removal it is necessary to replace it.

  1. Remove a pocket from outside the driver, address to Section Removal and pocket installation from outside the driver.
  1. Compress the tip (2) in a direction of an arrow and disunite connection.
  1. Turn the stoplight switch on 45 ° to the left and by that release it. Take out the stoplight switch.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. At the new switch of a stoplight completely take out a pusher (the marksman on an accompanying illustration).

In an installation time do not press a brake pedal.

  1. Insert the switch the lock laths (1) and (2) into grooves of a support of a pedal and fix, having turned to the right on 45 °. Switch position should be reliable. At installation of the switch the pusher itself occupies correct position.
  1. Fix the tip of the switch of a stoplight, check up switch work.
  1. Establish into place a pocket from outside the driver, address to Section Removal and pocket installation from outside the driver.
