Removal

- Switch off electric consumers. Switch off ignition. Thus electronic devices will be protected from possible damages.

Models with system Telematik: Activate service-mode of the block of management of system Telematik since otherwise at switching-off of the storage battery emergency battery Telematik is discharged. For this purpose enter on a tube of management sequence of keys #4610# and confirm with its pressing of key Navi.
- Uncover over a water modular compartment, address to Section Removal and installation of a cover of a water modular compartment.

If the storage battery only is disconnected, instead of acts in film, it is necessary to displace a cover over the battery to the right and to remove it. |

- Disconnect cables from the battery, at first a cable of weight (1), then a positive cable (2).
|
|
- Turn away the screw (4) plates of fastening (3) at the battery basis.
- If necessary, disconnect from the battery a hose central газоотвода.
- Extend the battery under a plate of fastening and take out it from an impellent compartment.

Installation
|
|
- Before installation of the storage battery smooth out to shine poles. For this purpose the brush from a brass wire approaches.
- Establish the battery into place, shift the battery basis under a plate of fastening and fix the moment 12Нм.
- Before battery joining check up, that ignition and all electric consumers have been switched off.
- Attach at first a positive cable to a positive pole (+), then a negative cable to a negative pole (-). Fastening nuts tighten the moment 6Нм.

Owing to erroneous joining of the battery there can be serious damages of the generator and electric devices. |

|
|
Do not grease poles of the storage battery. |
|
- Establish a cover over a water modular compartment, address to Section Removal and installation of a cover of a water modular compartment.
- If it is necessary, enter a radio receiver code.
- If it is necessary, again enter radio receiver programs.
- Establish hours.
- Models with system Telematik: Деактивируйте service-mode of the block of management Telematik. For this purpose press on a tube of management a Navi-key.
