Replacement of a brake liquid

It will be necessary for carrying out of work for you:

  • Nakidnoj key for отворачивания the union of removal of air.
  • Transparent plastic hose in internal diameter of 6 mm and capacity for gathering of a brake liquid.
  • Necessary quantity of the brake liquid corresponding to the specification.

The brake liquid which was in the use repeatedly do not apply. An old brake liquid freshen much more darkly. It allows to distinguish them easily.

The brake liquid through a time of brake hoses and a ventilating aperture of the tank absorbs a moisture. Thereof the temperature of boiling of a liquid while in service decreases. At the big loading on brakes it can lead even to steam formation that reduces efficiency of action of brakes.

The brake liquid owes each 2 years, it is desirable in the spring, to be replaced with the new. At frequent movement in mountain district, it is necessary to replace a liquid more often.

On HUNDRED air from brake system, as a rule, leaves on the special device. However it is possible to do it and without application of the specified device. Thus the brake system is pumped over by a brake pedal. Participation of the assistant for this purpose is required.

If in the course of removal of air from brake system liquid level sharply decreases, occurs подсос air getting to pump ABS. In this case air removal is necessary for making on HUNDRED with application of the special device. At replacement of any brake hose air also is necessary for removing from system on HUNDRED. While it is not made, to use the car it is impossible.

Sequence of removal of air:

  1. Support the back right
  2. Support the back left
  3. Support the forward right
  4. Support the forward left

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. By means of a pear remove from the tank a brake liquid, having left at the bottom of the tank a layer of a liquid in the thickness about 10 mm. Do not delete from the tank all liquid, differently air will get to brake system.
  1. Fill the compensatory tank with a new brake liquid to a label the MOVE.
  1. Cautiously, not to curtail, open the union of removal of air. It is recommended for 2 hours prior to the beginning of air removal to process the union means for rust removal. If the union does not open, on removal of air from brake system it is necessary to charge operation to a workshop.

  1. On the right back support of the disk wheel brake mechanism put on the union of removal of air a pure transparent hose and insert it into a suitable vessel.
  2. Ask the assistant to squeeze out repeatedly a brake pedal while противодавление to pedal pressing does not become notable. Press a pedal and open the union of removal of air. The union close after the brake pedal will rest against a body floor. Clean a foot from a pedal. Repeating this process, pump out about 400-500 ml of an old brake liquid.
  3. Close the union of removal of air and fill in in the compensatory tank a new brake liquid.
  4. In the same way pump out an old brake liquid from other supports or wheel brake cylinders, observing the sequence specified above.

The merged brake liquid in any case should be pure and without air vials. From each brake support it is necessary to pump out 3 old brake liquids about 400-500 sm.

  1. Old brake liquid hand over on special point on reception of the fulfilled combustive-lubricating materials.
  2. Press a brake pedal and check up a free wheeling. It should not exceed 1/3 courses of a pedal.
  3. Fill in a brake liquid in the tank to earlier existing level.
  4. Screw on the tank a stopper.
  5. Inspect reliability:
    • Whether brake pipelines and hoses are fixed?
    • Whether there are brake hoses in holders?
    • Whether unions of removal of air are tightened?
    • Whether liquid enough is filled in in system?
  6. On the working engine check up tightness of system. For this purpose about 10 times press a pedal of a brake with effort 200 - 300 Н (corresponds 20 - 30 kg). The brake pedal should not leave back. Check up on tightness all connections.
  7. In summary check up action of brakes on road with неинтенсивным transport. For this purpose it is necessary to make not less than one strong braking, having checked up action ABS (a sign of work ABS the pulsation of a pedal of a brake is at braking).

Watch transport going following your car. Effect of action ABS is better it is shown on an unpaved road.

It is not necessary to pour out a brake liquid together with a household waste or somewhere in other place.
