Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter

The general information

Impellent oil can be extorted by means of a special probe (is available on filling stations) through a tube probeа measurements of level of oil. After that it is necessary to fill system with oil, as a rule.

Do not pour out the fulfilled oil together with a household waste or otherwise. It can cause environmental contamination.

Expediently at oil replacement to fix on the engine a label with mark of oil and its viscosity.

Application of oils of various types adversely affects engine work. It is not recommended to mix various marks of oils also. Impellent oils of the same type and mark, but various viscosity in necessary cases, in particular in inter-season period, can mix up.

The necessary tool

• Viewing hole or the hydrolift with supports (if oil is not sucked away).
• Head for отворачивания a drain stopper.
• The special tool for отворачивания the filter (a key for the filter, a tape key or tool HAZET 2171-1).
• Capacity for oil gathering (if oil is not sucked away) by capacity not less than 6 l.

Necessary spare parts and account materials

• Only if oil is not sucked away: an aluminium or copper sealing ring for a drain stopper (are sometimes delivered together with the oil filter).
• The oil filter.
• Necessary quantity of the impellent oil resolved by the manufacturer, address to Specifications.

The oil filter

On sale there are filters with replaceable paper elements. Their advantage consists that is subject to replacement only фильтроэлемент.

The oil filter consists of the case (1), a cover (2) and фильтроэлемента (3). The case of the oil filter fastens bolts on the block of cylinders instead of a former oil cartridge. Removal of impellent oil

The diesel engine: Turn away a cover on the filter case so that oil could merge from the filter case in the pallet. Suck away or merge oil. For this purpose lift and establish the car horizontally on supports or put the car over a viewing hole. Remove the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher. Put under a drain stopper capacity for the fulfilled oil. Watch that at a reversing of a drain stopper hot oil has not got on hands. Therefore at отворачивании stoppers hold a hand horizontally. Turn out a drain stopper (1) of the pallet картера (2) and completely merge the fulfilled oil. To exclude undesirable consequences of repair, it is necessary to clear oil channels and hoses carefully. Besides, it is necessary to clear an oil cooler if it is available. In summary wrap a drain stopper with a new sealing ring. Do not exceed the admissible moment of an inhaling, otherwise it can lead to loss of tightness and damages. Lower the car on wheels.

Disconnect the oil filter. For this purpose there are special tools, for example, a tape key or tool HAZET 2171-1. Wipe a rag the flowed out oil. On an accompanying illustration the oil filter of the 4-cylinder engine is shown. Clear by means of fuel a flange of the oil filter on the block of cylinders. Remove the rests of a sealing lining. Grease with a thin layer of pure impellent oil a rubber sealing ring on the new filter. Fix by hand the new oil filter. When consolidation will lie down to the block of cylinders, turn the filter on 1/2 turns. If on the filter case there are instructions, follow them.

It is recommended to pour in at first oils on 0.5 l less than necessary volume, to start the engine, to warm up it and in some minutes the index to check up oil level. If necessary, to add oil.
