  2. Clear the transmission case a cold cleaner.
  3. Strew possible places of leaks известью or a talc powder.
  4. Pass on the car. That oil became liquid, pass on a high-speed line distance about 30 km.

  1. Lift and establish the car on supports. Shine with a lamp a transmission and check up places of leaks.
  2. At once eliminate leaks.
  3. The diesel engine: Establish the bottom cover of the engine, address to Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher.

Check of level and oil addition

The special tool:

  • Viewing hole or jack with supports.
  • For отворачивания stoppers for filling of system with oil depending on execution:
    • шестигранный a face key on 10 mm, for example, HAZET 985-10;
    • Many-sided face key on 16 mm, for example, HAZET 2567-16 or AUDI 3357.

  1. Establish the car over a viewing hole or lift horizontally on supports.
  2. Remove the bottom cover of the engine, address to Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher.
  3. The stopper for заливания oils is on a check point before the left power shaft and can be closed the heat-shielding screen of a shaft. In this case it is necessary to disconnect the heat-shielding screen.
  1. Turn out a stopper for заливания oils a face key for internal шестигранника on 10 mm or a key under an internal polyhedron 3357.
  1. Models with a forward drive and a check point 012/01W: To the control of level of oil apply the index of own manufacturing described above with the unbent end. For the control of level the index hold in an aperture horizontally, unbent end should look downwards. Take out the index and check up oil level under the index. Oil level correct if it is on 7 mm below an aperture.

  1. Models with a 5-step full drive (01А), and also with 5 and a 6-step forward drive (01Е): oil Level should reach the bottom edge of an aperture under a carving stopper.
  2. Models with a 6-step full drive (01Е): oil Level should be on 1 ± 1 mm below an aperture under a carving stopper.

If oil level too low, check up a box on tightness, if necessary, repair (work HUNDRED). It is Not enough to fill in oil only. It is necessary to observe the established level of oil! In no event it is impossible to pour oil.

  1. If a check point it is tight, fill in oil. Tighten a stopper the moment specified in Specifications.
  2. Fix the heat-shielding screen on a check point if he acted in film.
  3. Establish into place a cover of an impellent compartment, address to Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher.

Differential of a back axis, model quattro

Check of level of oil of differential is made at отворачивании stoppers for filling with oil (marksman). Oil level should reach the bottom edge of a carving aperture.

Tighten a stopper the moment specified in Specifications.
